The great race

Our boat at the Wooden Boat Regatta in Kragerø. 

We made an art boat from an old wooden boat with some political satire about a senseless gondel-cable track the megalomanic city wants to build. The large middle finger is inspired by the back side of a Venetian gondola and the cable cars are shaped as outhouses. l made a large Munch inspired (over here is where Edward Munch used to live) action drawing of the boat race chaos while we were almost sinking, had steering problems, engine trouble (since we'd build it in under stress during the night before) and tended to capsize a few times. Of course part of the crew was mooning during the race :)
